Paul "Prince Smith" Page (born October 3, 1994) is an American Recording Artist, Singer, Songwriter, Dancer and Actor. Born in Queens Village, New York, Smith started his journey discovering his musical talents at the age of 3. He was involved in all his school's choir, talent shows, Screenplays, church choir and was booked to perform at special events such as weddings, banquets, just a few to mention. After meeting and working with many producers and labels during his years of high school, Smith independently released his debut EP (Extended Play) titled Journal Entry #1 in October of 2013. It has peaked making Prince Smith the Singer of The Year of 2014's Voiceless Music Awards also leaving him with a second award with "Love Antique" (#4 on his project) winning Airplay Of The Year on their station and making it to the "Imperious Gang Volume 1 Mixtape" promoting talented unsigned independent artists. The fans favorite R&B/HipHop sensation "Sanity" along with "Hi" and "Victim" hit all local internet radio stations such as PNC RADIO, Pent House Radio, Right Now Radio, Keri's Korner, WCSU (Chicago State University), Free Up Radio and many more. Smith received more physical attention as a performer before the release of his EP, being the headline of the Creative Minds Show in March of 2013, being the first artist to win the Empire Takeover Award in April of 2013, just to name a few. After the release of Journal Entry #1, Smith won the opportunity to tour along side the "Lollipop Girls" group affiliated with Four Father Entertainment's own, Riley Cradle also becoming R&B winner of the first ever Platinum Celebrity Showcase performing for Sony's A&R Anthony Jones, Radio Personality Keena Brooks and Lil Nat, and publicist Alexis Bradley. Smith continues his journey creating a sequel of his 'Journal Entries" by releasing another fan favorite single pop song titled "Party Hard" May of 2014. It peaked hitting all local internet radio stations creating a buzz for Prince Smith's upcoming Journal Entry #2 mixtape and became a female fan based favorite. The journey has just begun for this young talented artist showcasing his original works of songwriting and continues to live on the legacy of creating a name for himself as an entertainer.
Prince's singing abilities were discovered while attending Stepping Stone Pre and Grade School in Queens. Just as he was enrolled, the teachers noticed a 3 year old boy with a knack for music. He was groomed by the music master and his voice coached to sing. At age 6, Prince performed his first solo at his own Kindergarten graduation where he shocked and amazed not only the entire graduation party but even his own mom. Just one month after his first solo performance, Prince Smith was shot by stray bullets that passed through his home as he slept at 5am one Sunday morning. Through his art of Music, Dance, and Drama he has since emulated the importance of Life Appreciation by using his talents to fulfill his dreams and aspirations.
Prince’s acting abilities were discovered while attending I.S.59 in Queens while performing in two school plays, “Dreamgirls”, performing the character of Jimmy Early (Eddie Murphy) and “The Wiz”, performing the Scarecrow (Michael Jackson). His acting abilities have then been broadened in Forest Hills High School which he graduated in class of 2012. While attending Forest Hills High School, Prince was discovered by Diane Hardin, an American Actress and Professional Acting Coach, also known as the mother of Melora Hardin, an American actress best known for her roles as Jan Levenson on NBC’s The Office, who was intrigued by Prince’s stage presence, gladly invited him to join “Diane Hardin’s Joy of Acting” workshop. Prince is still studying and attending Diane Hardin’s workshop for the past three years.
While attending Forest Hills High School, one of Prince’s biggest achievements was performing in the “Carmina Burana Choral Project” at Carnegie Hall on February 5, 2012 with his high school concert choir. Carnegie Hall's Creative Learning Projects are designed to give young musicians an opportunity to work with and become inspired by some of the top professional musicians in the world. More than 400 New York area high school singers performed at Carnegie Hall as part of the Carmina Burana Choral Project.
Since Prince graudated Highschool, he has started his Journey as an artist creating his first Debut EP titled, "Journal Entry #1." Performing at venues such as Brooklyn Exposure, Lox Lounge, Henrita's Restaurant, Love Jones Cafe, St. Francis College, City College of New York, Antuns Catering Hall, Charisma Hall, Amazura Concert Hall, Alahambra Ball Room and many more.
